Organized [for once]

23 Dec

I had some time to squeeze in a quick post! I’m waiting on Bill to get back from dropping his friend off at the airport before we can leave for PA. I snapped a few pictures of the Christmas preparations – I can’t wait to give out gifts. It is truly my favorite part of Christmas!

We have them all sectioned off in separate bags for our various families.

Now that my older brother has three beautiful daughters, I have so many more gifts to give. The bags are FULL. I can’t wait to see the little girls’ faces when they receive their not-so-quiet toys. [I really hope my brother and sis-in-law don't kill me for this!]

The bags have also been packed since last night. I feel organized for once in my life!

I got Scone’s dishes ready for the drive. Here’s hoping to a not-bumpy trip for the little bugger.

A little someone is excited for his first Christmas with us. Or at least that’s what I’m assuming anyway :)

Wow, is it just me or does Scone look huge in the picture? He has such a small head. Wowza.

Yes, we still have some last minute presents to wrap, hence the paper.

I’m also taking this lovely bottle on the road.

A gift from my boss! Don’t worry. I promise I won’t drink and ride. Though I may dip into this tonight, if needed. If you’re reading, thanks, El! :)

We’re stopping along the way tonight to see Ashley. It will be Scone’s first kitty play date! Let’s hope the claws stay in. Then we’ll arrive at my Dad and Stepmom’s house – and I’m hoping to hit up some old high school pals. Apparently there is karaoke at the local bar. I’m down!

Merry Christmas!

It’s so much more fun to buy xmas presents for kids than for adults! Now that I have 7 nieces and nephews, those are actually the only gifts I buy now. :)

    Safe travels!

Have a great trip! Give noisy gifts to kids is the best…if they aren’t yours!
