Fueling my Soul

I wanted a really loaded bowl of oatmeal this morning. Something comforting that would get me going on the last day of the work week.
This is a strange combination of blueberries, almond and some cherry/orange granola we bought at the Co-op. Even though it was a lot of flavors, they worked well together.
Now this is a crowded party.
Some days I just need a bowl of oatmeal that will fuel my soul.
Last night, Bill and I worked on a component of my independent study book project. I’m collaborating with Bill’s band to make a “CD” book (quotes because this in no way will be traditional). The band consists of three guys, and each one of them in is in a different state (PA, NC, DC). Below is our take on how they collaborate through distance.
The CD-book project will consist of several types of media. This is one example.
If you wouldn’t mind watching and giving feedback, I would really appreciate it! What are your thoughts after viewing?
loaded oatmeal is just the way to go sometimes
you just have to throw stuff in and hope it all goes together! although I don’t think there’s much that wouldn’t be good in oatmeal.

I just don’t get why there is that second computer screen? LOL – I’m pretty simple when it comes to artsty stuff though, so maybe that’s my fault! 
I think you should ALL come to Cleveland, and the boys can do a show here – sound good? Okay!

Hey Rose! I think your breakfast looks great! Fun combination of al the different fruits, grains and nuts. SUCH a cool video- I like how they make it work despite the distance. I also love how you made it very personal yet fun!
really really interesting concept. i would love to see the other types of media you’ll be involving! i almost wonder if you need the intro? the idea of how they’re collaborating sneaks up on you as soon as the music starts, and it makes for a really nice moment. but that’s just me, take it with a grain of salt.

Love the video, such a shame that Dave is not participating. But I kind of dig the picture of him with his goofy smile and guitar. Not sure others get it though from the comments… I think I just know the story behind it which makes it enjoyable for me.
Love that they’re still able to collaborate.
