Housekeeping
30 Jun
Just a few notes today:
<—– Has anyone noticed this new picture? I remember some folks saying they missed the lobster placemat being in the header. I have decided that you’re right and therefore, I tried to bring my lobster placemat back on the homepage. What better picture than me and Mr. Lobster’s introductions? I wish the lobster p was more noticeable, but for now this shall do.
<—— Blogroll. Pretend that arrow is pointing up. I have been a huge slacker with updating the blogroll. My reader is full of blog subscriptions, but I never transferred half of them into my blogroll. I was shocked to see that even some of my favorite blogs (that I read religiously) were not on this list. What happened to them? They were there before! Anyway…I had a lot of issues with this list when I was using blogger, but I think it’s finally up-to-date… for now.
——-> Click here. Bill sent me this article today, and it highlights “counterfeit foods.” You will be really surprised to see what makes this list, particularly fish and olive oil. I was surprised.
——-> I’m having an Old Bay Seasoning contest, and everyone’s comments are hysterical. Multiple chances to enter. Comment by Thursday, July 2, at midnight.
Ok. Glad the housekeeping is done. I am not one for dishes or cleaning. I kept forgetting to write about these things for a while, so I decided to just make an entirely separate post. Otherwise, I’m pretty sure I would have forgotten!
Happy Tuesday!

I did notice the new picture
love it! the comments for the contest are funny. I’m happy to see that someone else (Erin!) loves Old Bay chips.
way too good.
Thanks for adding me to your blog roll!!
i LOVE the new pic! classic.
and thanks for adding me
I also read your blog everyday and if I had a blogroll, you’d be on it
i meant to comment on that photo, because you look great in it, and so do the lobster and lobster placemat.
that is one very interesting (and disturbing) article. it’s honestly just sad that we have come to a point where we can’t trust a single thing food manufacturers tell us. more reason to eat fresh and local i suppose, but still – i wish something could be done about the big picture.
Love the lobsterloving picture. Funky fresh holla!!
I am a big fan of that picture! It captures your essence so perfectly, Rose
I also am a big fan of the tofu dish that Bill made for you yesterday – wow did that look good!
Also wanted to let you know that I got your email and am sorry I never responded. What you said meant a lot to me, and please know that I love sap in all shapes and forms. I will keep you posted and will definitely let you know once I have more details. I would love to get some of Miss Rose’s creative input!!!
I love the new picture!
It’s so scary that you can’t always trust the labels on food! It’s hard to know what you’re getting. It’s one reason why I am very loyal to my trusted vendors and brands…there’s often a catch to the great deals with the generic brands.
i like the new picture! too cute!
