My Harris Teeter

26 Jan

Today has been a super busy day. I’m not even sure how it happened, but Bill and I were out shopping for nearly four hours today. We only had a few items we needed to get plus some grocery shopping – but we got held up in a Petco, looking at toys for Scone. I think we are way too into our cat.

A new Harris Teeter opened up about 15 minutes away from us, and I wanted to give it a try. Thus, tonight’s meal includes only items bought there.

We bought some pre-stuffed chicken breasts, which we baked in the oven. They were good – but the rice stuffing burned quite a bit and was hard to eat.

We also had some garlic couscous and veggies on the side.

A nice little quickie meal for sure.

Uggghhhh. I am so dreading tomorrow. It’s my first day of classes. It’s not that I am dreading going back to school or anything like that – it’s more the time of night that I have class now. Check out my schedule:

  • Experimental Forms – Monday: 8:15 – 10:45 p.m.
  • Memoir Workshop – Thursday: 2-4:30 p.m.

That’s right. Mondays are not going to be a fun day. I highly doubt that I’ll be blogging my dinner that night as I won’t get home until nearly midnight. I am sure to be dragging on Tuesdays. But hey! This is what one must do when one is in graduate school part time.

Sigh.

Goodnight all :)

Yay Harris Teeter! I loved having one of those when I was living in Virginia! Good luck tomorrow!

Even though the rice burned, that dinner looks good :) I’ve never even SEEN a Harris Teeter, I wish we had them.

Ooo that Monday night is late, at least it’s only one day a week!

Wow, that is a late class! At least these things are only temporary.

Did you like Harris Teeter? I found the one sort of close to me kind of disappointing. I figure they’re all different though.

I hope today goes well for you! At least that night class is just ONCE per week ;)
