Inauguration 2009

22 Jan

We ate, we drank, we were merry. And I made this Obama Fruit Plate.

Now watch a short four-minute-video of our experience. If you want to skip to Obama’s speech, go about three minutes in. If you want to see our crazy antics, watch from the beginning. Enjoy!

what a great video! good for you for getting up so early. afew of my friends went and they didn’t LEAVE until 7am and ended up just in front of the monument!! I persoanlly preferred to stay home – I’m not a fan of frigid weather and i like the commentary from the news people :)

Hey, I was there for parts of that video. Crazy. This is Marie’s friend Rachal, by the way (the one who was visiting from Michigan, and slept on the incredibly uncomfortable floor of Amy’s apartment). I’m glad I finally found your blog. :-]
