My usual oatmeal – on bread!

So… after three hours of struggling with this off and on, I’ve decided to give up for now. Windows Live Writer keeps giving me an error message, and Blogger won’t let me upload photos (grrr!). For now, I’m going to keep this to all text – will insert photos later, if possible. CRISIS AVERTED! REVISED POSTING!
The other day, I noticed some bananas about to go bad and immediately decided to make a quick banana bread. I actually made a loaf of Banana Oatmeal bread – and this morning’s breakfast ended up being my usual bowl of oatmeal – but this time on bread:
I added PB, a slight drizzle of honey, and some trail mix on top my bread. I also sliced up a nice nectarine (which I just discovered isn’t exactly a natural fruit – what!?!). I was rushed this morning, so I ended up eating the entire piece of bread and only a few slices of the nectarine – I put the rest in a ziplock and brought them to work, though now I’m having some heartburn and acid indigestion (again!). I took something for it, so hopefully that will kick in.
For lunch I have made what I call – Everything but the carton of milk – This is a collection of leftovers I had in the fridge that I refuse to let go bad over time:
This “salad” is a mix of greens, the leftover tofu/pasta from the other night (of which, there wasn’t very much alone – but in this dish, it looks massive!), some more chickpeas and lima beans. The good news? I’ve used up all the leftovers except for one more small bowl of pasta. Hooray!
For snacks I’ve packed an orange and a Wallaby Organic Yogurt (Banana Vanilla):
It has taken me FOREVER to finally publish this post – so I’m jetting off!
