Dinner while cat-sitting

Tonight I am cat-sitting for a coworker, and to be honest, it hasn’t been easy. I had to feed the cats first, which sounds simple enough, except that Howard has kitty asthma and needs to take medicine. I thought I hid her pill good enough, but no. I essentially continued to entice her to eat the food by putting a small treat on top of it. Nope. I think it’s still in there, but I am going to get her to eat it by the end of the night.
After 20 minutes of trying with Howard, I decided to make dinner. Laura had chicken in the fridge and some brown rice on the counter for me. I mixed this up using only soy sauce and some frozen veggies. Make due with what you have! I am now enjoying that same glass of wine as featured in the photo.
I will post pictures of the cats tomorrow. The internet is going slow…
