Breakfast while cat-sitting

24 Jun

This morning I made a museli of sorts with a mishmash of items from Laura’s refridgerator: Peach Yogurt, Organic 1% milk, a Flax and Oats packet that was hiding among the Oatmeal and a few blueberries on top. I chilled for fifteen minutes in the refridgerator. It was much better than it looks in this picture, though the blueberries were a little, eh. I was surprised that the peach and blueberry combo didn’t turn out horribly though!

I am looking for ideas on what to take to my family reunion this Saturday in Pennsylvania. It can be healthy, but it needs to be disguised as something that isn’t. No one will eat it otherwise :( I’m traveling 3.5 hours. Any ideas on things that will last that long?

I always love a good pasta salad! Reasons it might work for you:
    1) It doesn’t have to stay super cold (a cooler and normal amount of ice/ice pack will do the trick),
    2) it’s easy to make
    3) you can throw tons of veggies and delicious healthy stuff in there (including whole wheat pasta and olive oil) and no one will ever be the wiser!

    :)

PS: Did you take the lobster placemat with you to cat sit?
